The 2094-BC01-M01-S is a 400 volt integrated shaft module for the Kinetex 6000 motion control system. The IAM module operates at a 360-480 VAC 3-phase input voltage. It provides a continuous output current of 9 amperes for the bus and a continuous output power of 6 kW for the bus. The driver supports a common bus follower with a DC input voltage of 458-747 volts DC. It has an integrated safety torque off (STO) function.

Through the integrated SERCOS interface, the 2094-BC01-M01-S can be connected using fiber optic media in a linear or ring topology. This enables high-speed data communication and provides the highest sensitivity to electrical noise. In addition, it can be used in conjunction with SERCOS interface modules and cards, such as the 1756-MxxSE ControlLogix SERCOM interface module; 1768-M04SE CompactLogix SERCOS interface module, and 1784-PM16SE PCI card SERCOS PCI SoftLogix communication card. The 2094-BC01-M01-S supports the Safe Torque Off (STO) function. This integrated safety function has passed ISO 13849-1 PLe/SIL3 certification. If compliance with EN954-1 Category 3 is required, external safety relays may be required. The main function of STO is to prevent the driver from restarting after a safety circuit trip. As part of the Kinetex 6000 multi shaft drive, the 2094-BC01-M01-S is capable of delivering torque up to 250% of continuous rated current. In addition, as the peak current increases, the power supply and shaft modules may shrink in size.
