The GE exciter board DS200FECBG1 has two jumpers, labeled BJ1 and BJ2, and an overvoltage protection controller is integrated on the board. The board is 5.5 inches by 4 inches in size, and has holes in each of its four corners for connection to the rack inside the drive. The motherboard has a specific installation location. When you plan to replace it, please note the location of the old motherboard and plan to install the replacement board in the same location in the rack. It is also planned to use the same screws that secure the old plate. Use two hands when removing the old DS200FECBG1 board. Turn the screwdriver with one hand to remove the screw, and stabilize the board with the other hand. Don't let the screws fall into the cabinet and get lost. If they do fall, stop replacing them and locate them. If screws are placed on electrical components, they can cause electric shock or damage to components in the drive. Instead, place all screws and washers in a safe place. In addition, they can get stuck in moving parts of the motor and damage components.

After removing the circuit board, place it on a clean, level surface. Place replacement parts on EDS safety materials, such as static protective bags upon arrival. Locate the jumper on the old board and move the DS200FECBG1 to replace the jumper on the board to match the location.
