The GE Insulated Gate Bipolar Transistor (IGBT) board DS200IIBDG1ACA contains 9 indicator LEDs to provide circuit board processing status. The LED can be seen from inside the circuit board cabinet and is red when lit. The circuit board contains a 32 pin ribbon cable connector, and during the replacement process, you must consider the correct procedures for disconnecting and connecting the ribbon cable.
Ribbon cables are made of thin wires that can easily be disconnected or disconnected from connectors. If any thin wires are disconnected, the signals they carry will not be sent to or received by the circuit board. The ribbon cable has two tabs on each side to hold the connector in place.
