The DS200ITXDG1ABA plate is marked as a dynamic brake buffer plate and is part of the Mark V series manufactured by General Electric. The operations required for the IXTD board are provided through the circuitry of the connected power/interface board (IMCP). When IMCP and IXTD boards are connected, they are connected through a four pin connector. When the circuit board is installed, the DS200ITXDG1ABA will be installed externally and must be sized to meet the switching requirements for dynamic braking IGBTs. The purpose of the buffer plate is to limit the voltage transients across the IGBT and all known operating conditions through the driver.
Another function of the DS200ITXDG1ABA board is to adjust the output of the IGBT gate driver board to match the electrical characteristics of the AT frame driver.
