General Electric has developed the DS200LDCCH1A card as a drive control LAN (local area network) communication board. GE DS200LDCCH1A was developed for GE's Mark V series drive and actuator boards. The DIRECTO-MATIC 2000 series drives are equipped to accommodate this board. The functions provided by GE DS200LDCCH1A to the host include operator interface, LAN communication, driver and motor processing, and driver reset.
The DS200LDCCH1A communication card provides four microprocessors that are suitable for various interface systems. The card includes a Local Area Network Control Processor (LCP) and a Drive Control Processor (DCP). LCP can accept five bus systems, while DCP provides control over integrated peripheral I/O, such as timers and decoders. The GE DS200LDCCH1A also includes a motor control processor (MCP) and a co motor processor (CMP). The MCP provides control for the motor control circuit and I/O communication. When the processing power of MCP is insufficient to calculate complex mathematical operations, CMP will provide the additional processing power required. The alphanumeric keypad is also connected to the development board, enabling users to access system settings and diagnostics. GE DS200LDCCH1A is a drive LAN control board for various turbine control applications. It has a U9 prom that accommodates the software/firmware required to run applications.
