GE's DS200LDCCG1ADA is a drive control and local area network communication board (LDCC). This device is a Mark V series circuit board specifically designed to connect to GE's DIRECTO-MATIC 2000 series. The DS200LDCCG1ADA has a series of built-in functions, providing users with an extended I/O and drive control experience. Four onboard microprocessors provide I/O and drive control functions for the DS200LDCCG1ADA. The drive control processor (DCP) performs I/O peripheral services (counters, decoders, etc.) and analog-to-digital and digital-to-analog I/O conversion. Motor control and digital I/O communication are controlled by an on-board motor control processor (MCP). When an MCP requires additional processing power, a co motor processor (CMP) can be used. At runtime, this processor is used to calculate advanced mathematical algorithms that MPC cannot complete. The LAN Control Processor (LCP) provides LAN interface functionality. The DS200LDCCG1ADA can accept five bus systems, including C bus, CPL, Genius, DLAN, and DLAN+. The user interface is simple and comes with a keyboard and display.
