REF615C-D feeder terminal is designed for protection, control, measurement and supervision of medium-voltage power grid. They can work with different types of switchgear, including single bus, double bus and duplex systems. The protection function also supports different types of networks, such as isolated neutral network, permanent grounding network and partial grounding network. Part of the system application fields of ABB distribution automation also cover the protection functions of various applications, such as. Frequency and voltage based protection, motor protection, thermal overload protection, capacitor bank protection and synchronous check/voltage check function. REF615C-D In addition to the protection, measurement, control and status monitoring functions, the feeder terminal is equipped to allow multiple PLC function automation and sequential logic function substation automation to be integrated into one unit.

REF615C-D data communication property includes the following communication: SPA bus, LON bus, IEC 60870-5-103, IEC 61850, Pro fibus-DPV1, DNP 3.0 or Modbus communication with higher level equipment.
