General Electric DS200LDCCG1A is the basic level control board of the Mark V series. This board is a driver control and local area network communication board (LDCC). Specifically, it is designed to provide driver and I/O control for the GE series DIRECTO-MATIC 2000 exciters and drivers. The onboard features of the DS200LDCCG1A include microprocessor controlled LAN communication, controlled driver and motor processing, operator interface, and complete driver reset.
The DS200LDCCG1A circuit board is equipped with four microprocessors to provide comprehensive I/O and drive control for the DS200LDCCG1A. The drive control processor (DCP) is located at position U1 on the motherboard. This provides integrated I/O peripherals, providing functions such as timers and decoders. The second is the Motor Control Processor (MCP), the DS200LDCCG1A being identified as U21 on the motherboard. The processor provides motor control circuitry and I/O (analog and digital) communication. U35 is the location of the co motor processor (CMP). Used only when additional processing is required, this section is used to perform advanced mathematics that cannot be calculated by MCP. The last processor on the motherboard is the LAN Control Processor (LCP) located in the U18 position. The processor accepts five bus systems (DLAN+, DLAN, Genius, CPL, and C-bus). The user interface system (programmer) comes with an alphanumeric keyboard. This interface system allows the user to view and adjust system settings and diagnostics.
